Daniel Kim is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC). Originally from Denver, Colorado, Daniel graduated from Chamberlain University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing.

After graduation, Daniel gained experience working in a variety of clinical settings, including Neuro/Telemetry, Perioperative, Cardiovascular ICU, and Acute Pain Service. However, during the COVID-19 pandemic, his experiences in healthcare sparked a deeper interest in mental health and the importance of providing accessible, compassionate psychiatric care.

This passion led Daniel to pursue his Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center (UTHSC), where he specialized in psychiatric/mental health. He is now excited to join the Synaptic Psych team in Memphis and looks forward to providing excellent, patient-centered mental health care to the community.
