Madison Freels is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Madison earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Kentucky before beginning her nursing career at Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital. During her time as a registered nurse, she gained experience caring for individuals across a variety of psychiatric settings and populations. Madison went on to earn her Master of Science in Nursing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Vanderbilt University. Since completing her PMHNP degree, Madison has continued her work in outpatient psychiatry, providing individualized and evidence-based mental health care.
Madison believes that meaningful psychiatric care begins with building a trusting relationship where patients feel heard, understood, and supported. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to treatment, working with each individual to understand their unique experiences and goals. Madison is passionate about helping patients navigate their mental health journey and is excited to continue serving the Nashville community.
