Prism for PTSD
Prism for PTSD

The Power of You.
When you work out, a treadmill or weights are simply tools. You put in the work and you stick with it to see results.
It is the same with Prism. You will come to the clinic for 15 Prism sessions and continue to practice your mental strategy in daily life. Once you can use this mental strategy at will, it will become second nature, automatic and a part of you.
Prism Works
In the multi-center clinical study, 67% of patients showed clinically significant symptom improvement, three months after completing the standard 8-week Prism protocol.
How does Prism help you?
It is believed, based on the current research, that Ketamine disrupts the brain chemical glutamate. Glutamate is involved vvith learning, memory, emotion, and pain recognition. Ketamine can cause rapid heart rate and elevated blood pressure.
Esketamine is a part of ketamine, and was made to be more potent in its nasal form, so you can use this medication at a lower dose and, likely, have fewer side effects.
Esketamine must be used in conjunction with a conventional antidepressant and is regulated through a federally mandated risk mitigation program. Esketamine can provide rapid relief from depression symptoms and suicidality.

Struggling with symptoms following a traumatic experience?
There is a way Back to Better with Prism for PTSD. Prism is the first and only self-neuromodulation treatment FDA-cleared to treat your PTSD. Whether you are a survivor of sexual assault, serious accident, major illness, natural disaster or are a Veteran, Prism may be a treatment option to discuss with your healthcare provider.

How is Prism Different?
Prism is a prescription treatment that does not require taking additional medications or talking in detail about your traumatic experience. What makes this treatment unique is that it is powered by you.
Prism will help you explore personal memories, emotions or experiences that make you feel calm and safe. We call this a mental strategy. In the clinic, you will sit in a quiet room. and watch a computer simulation with animated characters, called avatars. A soft EEG headset will be placed on your head. Prism reads the signal from the EEG headset and computes the amygdala-based biomarker. As you engage in a mental strategy that lowers the level of the amygdala-based biomarker, the avatars will gradually sit, stay seated and quiet down. You may need to try a few different strategies to find the one that works for you. Yes, you can do it!
Only 15 Sessions
The typical course takes 15 sessions, often administered a few times a week, or 8 weeks total. One can come in for a treatment and continue about their day with no limitations.

Physician Recommended.
Patient Preferred.
Dr. Cochran at The Neuroscience and TMS center has served as my psychiatric care physician for the past 5 years. I have made tremendous progress while seeing her. She is attentive, thorough, and professional. I refer her to everyone I know in need of psychiatric care because I trust her and her staff completely. I am very thankful to be a patient of the Neuroscience and TMS center.

This hands down is the BEST doctor’s office I've ever been to. Not just on a psychiatric level, but just a medical setting in general. I love Dr. Becker and I'm beyond grateful that I found him. He is very personable and just one of the easiest people to talk to. And the front desk is great too and that goes a long way! So yes, 5 stars! I recommend this to anyone who needs to find a good and relaxed environment for psychiatry.

Mary is wonderful. She understands my medical condition and truly cares. She listens and comforts you in time of need. She is a true human being and doesn’t treat you like a number. She is very professional and knows her stuff.

This was a great treatment for me. I have completed TMS therapy numerous times b/c I keep getting better and better. I suffered a traumatic brain injury and was steered towards TMS and it has helped me tremendously…This team knows what they are doing and I’m happy I had the opportunity to do this.
