Dr. Michelle Cochran is finished up a short Trip to London England where she was able to lecture for two days with the Clinical TMS Society (CTMSS). She and colleagues, Suzanne Kerns MD, Kimberly Cress MD, Richard Pitch MD, Linda Carpenter MD, Mark S. George MD and Mohammed Abdelghani MBBCh, MRCPsych, have spent months preparing for this educational and hands-on conference in order help new doctors expand their knowledge and apply TMS in clinical practice.
The conference which was held at the Royal Medical Society’s Chandros House was successful and over 40 international members attended. Dr Cochran was able to reconnect with Professor Tony Barker and his wife Julia who travelled from Sheffield, England to attend and visit with the speakers and attendees. In addition she was able to have a tour of the Royal Insitute (Faraday museum) which houses Michael Faraday’s laboratory, and the original electromagnet used in his experiments.
Dr Cochran will speak at another similar PULSES conference will be held in May in conjunction with the CTMSS Society’s annual meeting to be held in New York. At that meeting, she will step down as the president and will ‘pass the baton’ to Paul Croarkin MD.
